NEED TO KNOW
Here are some quick things you need to know..
May 6th - Act2 6:00-8:00pm
Part of our Act 2 night next Sunday will be a potluck supper. Our Act2 nights are worship nights that are a compilation of ideas that mostly come from the teens and this was one of them - a good old fashioned potluck! So If your teen asks you if they can cook or bring some food - it's legit.
Also, Pastor Andy will be joining us for this Act2 sharing the message. Teens are picking the songs we'll sing, they'll be involved in prayer and sharing communion together - should be a great night!
May 13th is Mother's Day so we'll be off that night so Moms can get all the love from their kids they can fit in to the day!
June 3rd is our last night of programming for the school year. It is our Senior Recognition night and will be a big deal. If you are the parent of a senior and haven't connected with me yet, I'll be connecting with you this week so we can solidify our planning for that evening.
IF YOU WANT TO KNOW
We finished out our "Close" series last night. We had another good night - it's always a really cool feeling as you see the year progress and get to this point where the teens really seem to enjoy just being together! Cory lead us in a teaching about how distraction in our relationship with God can often come from a place of sin in our lives. We talked about sin and that rift it creates in our walk with God, and how even in those times God still wants to be close to us and invites us to simply turn back: simple and yet profound given how often this comes up in life.
I'll be going to some of the teens after school activities the next couple weeks if you'd like to invite me to join you when I look lost showing up!

There's not a lot left of this program year. It's crazy how fast it goes.

Until the Fall: Nope
We will be doing some things over the summer - we'll have a summer calendar ready for you parents before the program year is done.
